I provide individual and couples therapy for adults who want to change how they go through life. I work with people around issues related to depression, anxiety, relationships and intimacy, work-related stress, family conflicts, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, and navigating major life transitions.
My style is warm and open, and my focus is on fostering safety, awareness, and growth in the therapeutic environment. I look forward to speaking with you about where you are now and where you want to go.

I adapt my work based on your unique needs, strengths, and interests.
I use techniques from several different treatment modalities, including Psychodynamic Therapy (developing insight), Emotionally Focused Therapy (improving communication and intimacy in relationships), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (identifying and working to live in alignment with your values), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (noticing your thoughts and how they shape your behavior), and mindfulness-based techniques.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker specializing in individual and couples therapy. I graduated with a Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University in New York, and have been practicing in Boston since 2014. My areas of interest include:
- navigating major life transitions
- addressing issues related to attachment and intimacy
- coping with illness and caregiver stress
- managing depression and anxiety
I have practiced in a variety of settings and with adults of all ages, and have written and lectured on my clinical work. I have extensive experience with individuals and couples facing the challenges of caregiving and fostering intimacy when coping with a major illness (especially dementia and Parkinson's disease).
